CWN's editor, Phil Lawler, gives an interview at Ignatius Insight on his background and on his vocation as a Catholic journalist. I will readily admit that most of what I know about being a Catholic journalist, I learned by working for him over the past 9 years. I anticipate that some of his answers will be controversial, but it will give you an insight into our philosophy here at Catholic World Report and Catholic World News.
