Assuming that you are a US citizen, where do you stand on the minimum-wage law? Do you think Medicaid is a good, fiscally sound program? How about the National Affordable Housing Trust? And what is your attitude toward the world diamond trade?
The reason I ask is to discern whether you'd want to support an organization which has promised, among other things, to:
- Support legislation for raising the minimum wage to help full-time workers to support themselves and their families.
- Oppose legislation that would undermine the Medicaid program.
- Support legislation to establish a National Affordable Housing Trust Fund that would provide new resources to fund the development and maintenance of rental housing affordable to low income families.
- Support legislation designed to strengthen conditions for the sale and distribution of diamonds….
Not sure where you stand on all these issues? That's OK. I'll let you think a bit, and be back with more questions.
