    I've been thinking about this for a while. I conclude that Western bishops have residences that are far too comfortable. I ask myself if I lived in Palastine in 40 AD, how much trouble whould I have had meeting or conversing with St. Paul, or St. James, or Barnabus, etc. I'm almost 60 and the last time I had contact with a US Bishop was at my Confirmation in the 4th grade, even though I go to Church regularly. They seem to have no interest in real Catholics, or even real people.
