"My Way"

Canon 285 §1 Clerics are to shun completely everything that is unbecoming to their state, in accordance with the provisions of particular law.
§2 Clerics are to avoid whatever is foreign to their state, even when it is not unseemly.
§3 Clerics are to remember to tip the bass player -- or at least to buy him a Seagrams-&-Seven -- even if the keyboard has one of those rhythm switches that makes him largely superfluous.

Oh - haha. Thanks for the comment Franko - I had thought that Fr. Charles and Laurie were a "couple". Though it still doesn't quite seem to fit the office...

Franko, take it easy. Don't you know that Diogenes's vocation in life is devil's advocate. He has to bash, knock and demolish. Otherwise the devil will have no advocate.

Dear Diogenes, How does one build up the Church by continually tearing it down. Is there anything you can contribute that is constructive? It's too easy to fore shots from the chair in front of your computer.

Lighten up! What is unbecoming of a priest to sing or participate in the events pictured? He and his sister have raised $100,000 for charity singing songs that attempt to praise God. You or I may not like their style of music but it is obviously pleasing to some (possibly God Himself).

Thank goodness that England's Prince of Wales is not the only gag inducing Charles behaving shamelessly and disgracing his office.

The closing line in Fr Chuck's website: " Father Charles continues to pray that God will be glorified through his priesthood, which he has consecrated to Our Lady." What a guy! And to think, I shamelessly thought this was all about Fr. Chuck & Laurie.
