Speaking of the recent health scare for Pope John Paul, our colleagues at Inside the Vatican have an insider's view of the events of February 1 based on their own reporting and Italian news reports. According to one source they quote, the Holy Father was ten minutes from death when he was brought to the Gemelli Hospital.
