I'll get one "Menopause Pin," because I'm certain I'll be the first in the neighborhood to have one. And also a, "Back Off - I'm a Goddess" bumper sticker for a nun I know... but I'll stay away from some of the other catagories of gift items, etc...'cause St. Paul said we shouldn't even talk 'bout stuff like that!

Ah, the NOW gift shop -- the perfect place to shop for those who won't ever get a Mother's Day gift of their own . . . My personal favorite was the bumpersticker that says, "Just Say NO to Sex with Pro-Lifers." Two immediate thoughts: (1) is turning us down for sex really a regular problem for them?; and (2) do they really believe that pro-lifers are doing that much bed-hopping? Well, at least we got "pro-life" billing (instead of "anti-choice"). Kate Michelman must have been asleep.

If they had little fans concealed in them to help with hot flashes they might be worthwhile. It continues to amaze about these psuedo-feminists how they think they "celebrate" women by making a fetish of natural biological processes. I'd prefer to "celebrate" something that is inclusive of both men and women. Maybe we could have a national "Celebrate going to the bathroom day."
