Did anybody else notice that the appointment of Bishop Gregory to the Atlanta archdiocese came on the anniversary of the death of Archbishop Fulton Sheen?

As Arte Johnson used to say in the old Laugh-In TV show: velly intevesting. Sheen is on his way to be canonized; lets assume interecessory prayers are available. Further, lets assume that given Sheen's occassional quarrels with other prelates, that some of this intercessory testosterone is still available to those of us here on earth. I'll bet you can guess what I'm praying for.

Well, that appointment would have to be over Archbishop Sheen's dead body.

Just a coincidence. These geniuses don't think that hard on purpose.
