It's unseasonably warm in Boston today.
The cold weather was all used up, I suppose, when hell froze over.

Unfortunately, I had already mailed my absentee ballot when I learned from this item that Hell had frozen over. If I had known, I'd have voted for Kerry.

Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox and the Boston College football team. This Notre Dame football and New York Yankee baseball fan is a little uneasy regarding the enormous success of all causes Bostonian this year. The biggest prize of all looms just days away. I only hope Boston's well deserved sports successes against "my" teams (and others!) don't extend to the political victory of a certain Massachusetts candidate for the White House.
