Another (yawn!) bimbo eruption?

By Phil Lawler (bio - articles ) | Feb 12, 2004

The Drudge Report says that a leading Democratic presidential candidate may have been involved in an extra-marital affair. With an intern.

Maybe, with an eye to recent Democratic models, he was trying to act "presidential."

BTW, I'm talking about the sexual-indiscretion rumors of 2004, as distinct from those of 1996, 1992, 1988, 1980, and 1960. Does this sort of thing still qualify as "news?"

I don't imagine that any of the pro-abortion women clue into why it is that these rabidly pro-abortion male politicians have affairs is it?

Kerry claims to be Catholic, when it is politically expedient for him to do so. In reality the man is a corrupt, pro-abortion, creep who has always "married money" (Both his first wife and his second wife are heiresses. He dumped the first wife when she became "depressed" and was running around with Hollywood starlets soon after.) If this new "extra-marital affair" with a young woman is true and if it brings about his ruin, so be it.

Please, please, please, please let Dean re-capture his front-runner status on the strength of this latest news. A convention floor fight followed by a Mondale-esque candidacy I beseech thee O Lord...

The love of money truly is the root of all evil.
