The audit is hollow. Certainly children need to be protected. The actual problem however is active gays in the priesthood. So called consensual sex between adults. Such men in the episcopate and priesthood will not do what is necessary to teach and enforce Catholic morality such as the protection of life from conception to death, the protection and encouragement of the traditional family. Nor, will they clean up Catholic catechesis and education and recruit mature males to the priesthood.
