Sometimes when a priest is a good pastor, leading his parishioners in prayer and teaching the Catholic faith, he embarrasses the chancery staff and a Bishop who lack this ability. Most of the time, if they had the ability to reach a parish family as the above priest has, they would find excuses to not do it, A ministry like that takes time and most of all, it takes a life of personal prayer. And that is what scares them off.
