Just asking...

Since sometime in 1999, President Bush has been saying that he's anxious to sign a ban on partial-birth abortion.
Since October 22, he's had the opportunity to do so. But he hasn't done it yet.
What is he waiting for? Just wondering...

C'mon, Phil, please? As much as I admire and respect what you and this magazine are doing, do we not decimate ourselves when we harp on the failings of our allies? I mean, President Bush may not yet have acted, and he may not act as quickly as we'd like, but he IS a politician, after all. So, although 'The Amen' will spew the lukewarm from His mouth (Rev 3:15), Jesus also said, "he who is not against us is with us." (Mark 9:40), and Bush IS giving a cup of cold water to His little ones.
