Cracks in liberal Anglican facade
By Fr. Wilson (articles ) | October 14, 2003 10:56 PM
It appears, on the eve of the London meeting of 38 primates of the Anglican provinces, that the progressives in America and Canada are about to be dealt a withering rejection. Journalist David Virtue covers the matter thoroughly in these links, but basically Presiding Bishop Frank Griswold has blinked and stepped back from his insistence on consecrating a new bishop for a conservative Diocese of Florida, and he has been seen recently in New Hampshire -- perhaps trying to persuade Gene Robinson, the homosexual bishop-elect, to withdraw?
And a large majority of primates are determined to reassert biblical morality for all to hear. I've found their comments on these matters deeply edifying.

If the Anglicans reassert biblical morality and the Cubs go to the World Series I'll be looking over my shoulder for the Four Horsemen...
