My title is taken from Pope Francis' message for the 7th festival of Catholic social teaching. It is certainly true, for our fidelity is constantly being tested.

And we can get in horrible ruts, too. But that was not the case with our Fall Campaign. We won our Challenge Grant! Thanks to all who participated!

In thanksgiving, let me concentrate today on our call to grow spiritually. I begin with Fr. Jerry Pokorsky’s latest homiletic essay: Anticipation.

Jennifer Gregory Miller carries on the theme in her latest liturgical year contribution: Advent: Focusing on the Essential with Expectant Delight.
