eNewsletter Subject: An Emphasis on the Wrong Syllable?

In a continuing effort to clarify the legitimate moral positions involved in the debate over vaccinations made from fetal tissue, I've added my own two cents to the comments by Phil Lawler mentioned in my last message:

• Thinking morally about vaccinations: My turn!
• The Pontifical Academy for Life did NOT argue it is morally obligatory to use tainted vaccines

What interests me even more at this point is the growing evidence that, no matter what the issue, some Catholics will always feel the need to condemn the legitimate decisions of others. See my latest On the Culture: Shooting the Messenger, Catholic Style.

Meanwhile, the West continues to slide down the slippery slope which forces Catholics to think and rethink what they can accommodate and what they cannot. This time Canada is the culprit: Canada's top court overturns ban on assisted suicide....
