eNewsletter Subject: A Blessed Christmas!

With all my heart, I wished to write something uplifting and full of gratitude for our users before Christmas. I particularly wanted you to understand how much I value your interest in and support of CatholicCulture.org.

But the distributed denial of service attack struck last Thursday, and since then I have been necessarily preoccupied with reconfiguring our website, and with tracking down any remaining glitches related to that reconfiguration.

Still there is growth. This morning, just as Mass was starting, I was alerted that we had another problem with people reaching CatholicCulture.org. Twenty years ago I would have been out of Church like a shot, rolling up my sleeves on the way to the car.

It has taken me a long time to realize that participating in the Mass, and remembering all of our users in so doing, has a higher priority than “my own vital work”....
