This week a number of commentators have run out of patience with Cardinal Walter Kasper's book tour to promote his dubious solution to marriage and divorce—long before the Synod on the Family has even had a chance to meet.

But in spite of the Cardinal's unseemly haste, we should recognize the crisis of marriage today and welcome constructive ecclesiastical efforts to do something about it. See my latest In Depth Analysis: Are 50% of Marriages Invalid?
