Meditating on the Marks of the Church

I hope everyone will get as much benefit from my new series on the marks of the Church as I am getting from reviewing and reflecting on the relevant theology. The first in the series is on Church as manifestly one: The Church’s Mark of Unity, and How It Works.

Among other things, this first installment should explain how the perfection of the Church can exist despite the sins of her members. Still, that pesky membership can cause problems! Phil Lawler updates us on two problems which lie at the heart of Vatican reform: Rooting out corruption at the Vatican: unfinished business.
