eNewsletter Subject: A Serious Downturn but Much to Offer

I don't like putting financial support front and center in an Insights message—and you'll see below that we have much to offer you today—but the plain fact is that we have a big problem.

In October, for some reason, support began to fall off, finishing 20% lower than last year. Then we announced our matching campaign starting in November. Last year, this brought an immediate response.

Not this year. In the 30 days of November in 2012 we received $34,000 in gifts, most of which were matched. In the first 15 days of November this year, that number is $12,000, a decline of 30% even given the shorter time.

Worse still, we've received just $5,100 in response to our matching campaign, which is good up to $35,000....
