09/25/2009 - Can We Eliminate Left and Right?

Pope Benedict, like all modern popes before him, would like to see the gap between left and right bridged by Catholic social teaching. We noticed last week how in Caritas in Veritate he had insisted on the unbreakable bond between life ethics and social ethics, a union from which both sides could benefit.
